(1963)

Directors : Federico Fellini

Synopsis :

With 8½ Frederico Fellini leaves a self-portrait where dreams and reality are a mix. With help from a most excellent cast and unique scenery this self reflecting film is one of his master works.

Our View :

This is one of our favorites, by visionary maestro Fellini. Remarkable on every level, especially the aesthetics, from the moving camera to the storytelling through flashbacks. Not your conventional narrative, 3-act structure, as that would not work in Fellini's dream world, even if autobiographical.
